Please join local Veteran and photographer J. William Kraintz II on Friday, June 1st, at the Santa Cruz Veterans Memorial Building for the debut of his photographic exhibit, “We Are Still Here.” Kraintz set out to photograph 1% of the Veteran population here in Santa Cruz County, which he accomplished. The purpose of the exhibit is to raise awareness about Veterans and to draw the public’s attention towards them. There will also be special Veteran guests performing their own poetry. The event will begin at 5:30 PM and last until 9:00 PM. This is a free community event for all ages. Friday, June 1, Santa Cruz Veterans Memorial Building, 846 Front St.
